Check out this carving!

I’ve been scrolling Reddit for months looking for anything that might tell me what’s in Eno River State Park — local subreddits, r/Paranormal, r/Unexplained… the last one is where I finally found this!

Someone shot video of this strange carving in Eno River State Park and posted it asking what people thought it was.

The carving of a woman has a spiral on it?!!! That has to connect to what I saw.

People responded that the carving means the spiral goddess, the Great Mother, Druidism, Wicca, witchcraft, Mother Earth… One said that spiral is carved on top of the woman’s womb. Lots of things to look up.

I videoed the Reddit post and put it on YouTube as the first piece of evidence. I’m calling the YT channel the Evidence Locker – wishful thinking that there will be more. If you find any other evidence, let me know and I’ll add it to the channel.

Your story made me look up the spiral goddess! I remember talking about it once in an ancient civilizations history class when I was younger, and I think it’s so cool that it’s in the Eno. Did the person say anything about when it was carved? Obviously, there’s a lot of history with the cycle of life in that state park. The recent flooding could even seem like some sort of resetting the cycle if that’s really a spiral goddess…?

I only know what was in that Reddit thread. I don’t think anyone knows when it was carved.

This is insane. I was at eno river the other week and saw some creepy things too…I thought it was just because I was looking at your blog and got carried away…but now I don’t think so.

When I was driving in, I had to avoid roadkill, vultures, and even had to wait for crows to leave the road. I almost considered turning around and not going in…to many “omens of death” so to speak.
Which trail did you go on to find this?? Where I was there was a cautioned off drawbridge

It’s nice to know it’s not just me. I didn’t find the carving so I don’t know the answer to that. I found the post on Reddit by someone else who found it. They made it seem really deep in the park.
